Dr. J. Joseph Prendergastbrings a lifetime of medical experience to Synergy’s Medical Advisory Board. A graduate of Wayne State University, Dr. Prendergast completed a fellowship in endocrinology and metabolism at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit and performed his residency at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Prendergast is board-certified in internal medicine as well as endocrinology and metabolism. He has been a practicing physician for over 35 years and is an expert in integrative arginine and passionately believes in its ability to enhance health and is why since 1991, he has been personally using arginine in his medical practice. Dr. Prendergast has clinically tested over 5,000 of his patients, some for more than 17 years and who have added risk of diabetes.
